University of Tehran, Iran.
I pursued my doctoral studies at the University of Tehran, the oldest and most prestigious university in Iran, often referred to as “The Mother University of Iran.” Established in 1934, the university has played a pivotal role in the country’s educational, cultural, and political spheres. Its main campus, located in the heart of Tehran, is renowned for its iconic architecture and serves as a symbol of higher education in Iran.
The University of Tehran offers a wide array of programs across its numerous faculties, including sciences, engineering, humanities, social sciences, and arts. It has been instrumental in advancing research and development in Iran, hosting numerous research centers and institutes. University admission is highly competitive, with only the top percentile of students securing a place, reflecting its commitment to academic excellence.
During my time at the university, I was affiliated with the Faculty of Management, which offers comprehensive programs in various management disciplines, including industrial management and operations research. The faculty is dedicated to developing expertise in optimizing complex systems and processes, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
